Data Migration and Data Import

Insert data into the CRM system or view external data in a window

We help with data extraction, manipulation and loading. In many cases, field sales executives with just the CRM application running on their PCs can see their customers' transaction history which can be refreshed as often as necessary.
Alternatively we can help you to view real-time transactional data that is stored in an accounting or other database in a window of the CRM system.

Data matching

All data migration and windowing operations rely on a match between the source and target data. Ideally a field (eg, customer account no) in the CRM system exactly matches a field in the accounting or field service system. However, this is only rarely achieved in practice.
As a second best we force matching by searching for fields that can be made to match, for example, by using post codes, telephone numbers, or combinations of those with company names. Alternatively by using advanced automated techniques like 'fuzzy matching'.
